ADM not authorizing or importing on Windows 10?

Pretty sure this is colossally borked on Windows 10 right now. I have been trying for the better part of the day now; from both my laptop and my desktop and ADM refuses to authorize or import my books into iTunes.

I have deauthed all of my machines in iTunes and removed everything through Amazon's device managment... still nothing. As a result I can't even play the books that I did have authorized in iTunes since I have been unable to REAUTHORIZE it.

I was able to download it directly in the app on my iPod touch; which is great, except I can't run that through the radio in my truck; it has to be loaded through iTunes to work. This is where 95% of my audiobooks are listened to during my commute to and from work.

I am also seriously tired of every 10 minutes ADM telling me it needs to update Chrome. No matter how many times I completely shutdown all chrome.exe processes; it always needs to update it. Switched to use Firefox as the default browser and it still isn't importing/authorizing but it isn't nagging me about updating chrome anymore either...

Please tell me I am not the only one with these issues?

Edit: I have now tried authorizing a VM running Windows 8 (which I was on prior to 10) and it did not work there either... so I am not convinced it is specific to Windows 10...

Edit 2: Contacted support via chat. They were of course helpful. I am not sure if they did anything or if 'magic happened'. They had me 'deactivate audible account' from within iTunes and then I was able to re-import the downloaded book from ADM on Windows 10. I did these steps in multiple yesterday in addition to on multiple PCs with non-descriptive errors as a result. So I have no idea what was different this time; I assume Audible's CSR pushed some backend buttons to make things work.

Chrome is still apparently an issue for ADM but I can live with that annoying popup I guess...
